Decisions
When you come to the crossroads, many things occupy your mind. Outside appearances may not change, but inside appearances would have evolved.
I heard this question over the radio…
你会为了一棵树而放弃一片森林吗?还是会放弃那棵树来探索那片森林?
(Translation: Would you be willing to give up a forest for a tree, or would you give up the tree to explore the forest?)
Its a question that only we can answer for ourselves… and I don’t think I have an answer to that yet.
Lost as I am, I know that:
Opportunities come and go. However, it is our decisions that lasts a lifetime.
And it is because of this mindset that makes a decision hard to arrive at.
All I can do now is to pick a choice that seem right now, smile =) and hope that it will still look/feel/be right in the future.
Lifestyle Change
I was on this side of the glass when I said goodbye.. Now its time to be on the other side..
Its goodbye to the drudgery of this current lifestyle and hello to another more drudgery lifestyle..
The time has come to experience confinement….
Oh. Feel free to sms me… you know how to contact me…. I will reply when I can.
No charging of phones allowed, thus running on limited battery power!
Its “sobs” to the end of freedom and “woo-hoo” to finally starting the countdown from 730 days of training.
Happy New Year 2008
New Year is finally here. It is with a mixed feeling that I welcome the new year.
The end of 2007 and thus the start of 2008 marks the beginning of a new crossroads in life. ‘A’ Levels are over and thus am now closer to stepping into the “real world”. In 2008, a few things will happen:
- Nerve-wrecking wait for ‘A’ Level results will be over as it comes out in around March.
- Finally get started on fulfilling my National Service.
- Finish a final school project before getting started on point 2.
- Start thinking and planning the pathway to the next crossroad.
These stuff aside, I’ll like to wish everyone out there a Happy New Year 2008!
